Exploring Tai Chi Chuan

Studying an art like Tai Chi Chuan is a lonely journey at times. There are three things that develops a serious Tai Chi explorer.

Good instruction, is your first building block.
Finding a good teacher is some times challenging, but studying with one is better than many! Researching and reading as much material as you can, opens your unconscious to many paths, but in the end sharpens your mind to the correct path.

Regular and correct practice, is your second building block.
Practicing your style’s forms daily is a must. There is a path to excellence and it requires many repetitions. Think of the ten thousand rule and you still are not done. Practicing  with someone can breakup the monotony as well as share the journey with an equal.

Patience and more patience, is your third building block.
Tai Chi Chuan has roots in Taoist Philosophy and as with any philosophy the journey is long. You will practice, and if you feel what you are doing, new things will pop into your conscious mind regularly.
